Abraham Verghese
A multi-generational story set in Kerala, spanning from the early 1900s to the present. It's long and dense and beautiful. The kind of book where you need to occasionally stop and just sit with what you've read.
I'm about halfway through. Taking breaks to let it settle.

Donella Meadows
A primer on systems thinking. I've read this before, but I'm going through it again more carefully, taking notes this time. The frameworks are surprisingly applicable to thinking about AI systems.

Books I've started but paused:

- The Left Hand of Darkness — Will return to this when I'm in the mood for slower sci-fi
